In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. Motivated by the ideal of dependent aggregation, we develop the dependent interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted geometric(DIVIFEOWG) operator, in which the associated weights only depend on the aggregated interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy arguments and can relieve the influence of unfair interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy arguments on the aggregated results by assigning low weights to those “false” and “biased” ones and then apply them to develop some approaches for multiple attribute decision making with interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy informations. Finally, an illustrative example for evaluating the stability of mountainous freeway is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute group decision making problem with triangular fuzzy linguistic information. We proposed the induced fuzzy linguistic ordered weighted harmonic mean (IFLOWHM) operator. A practical method based on the FLWHM and IFLOWHM operators is developed for multiple attribute group decision making with triangular fuzzy linguistic variables. Finally, an illustrative example for infrared imaging systems detection performance evaluation based on the machine vision is given.

The study investigated the impacts of adult attachment and subjective happiness on college students’ family quality of life. The study used three scales, Family Quality of Life (FQOL); Adult Attachment (AA) and Subjective Happiness (SH). A total of 377 college students participated in the study. ANOVA revealed a significant difference on Family Quality of Life with Adult Attachment and Subjective Happiness. The study indicated that health family interaction, parenting, and emotional wellbeing of college student may attribute to secure adult attachment and high subjective happiness.

Pattern recognition is one of the important tools in the automation industry. Many techniques have been used to achieve this task. One of these techniques is the Virtual Generalizing Random Access Memory (VG-RAM). The weakness of this technique appears when the input is not binary. Therefore, to overcome the VG-RAM weakness, the Manhattan distance has been used instead of Hamming distance in this paper. Also, a reduction in the classification time was achieved using a minimization algorithm. The combination of these two methods takes 0.03 sec. to classify 283 input sets compared to 5.913 and 0.551 sec. using MLP and SVM methods respectively. the number of training sets has been reduced from 300 to 32 with a similarity measure reduction from 1 to 0.3. in addition, the number of occupied slices in FPGA implementation was reduced from 1557 to 976 with a probability of correct classification from 98.6% to 96.4%.

In the traditional Gynaecological Brachytherapy uses standardized applicators and techniques, such as the Manchester or Stockholm systems for cervical cancer. In the challenging world of cancer treatment it is very essential more visualize the cancerous tissue and neighboring risk organs. The 3D images are taken using CT and MRI to localize the applicator positions and risk organs. This provides a better adaption of dose distribution to the clinical target volume while simultaneously controlling the dose at risk organs. This method ensures the maximum dose at target volume and minimum dose at risk organs. Applying these 3D image guided Gynaecological Brachytherapy, the traditional reference points such as ICRU points A and B becomes less mandatory, however dose to point A and B should be continued as per prescribed. The dose varies patient to patient and even from fraction to fraction.

It is a fact that this approach is mainly used for achieving the goals related to the morphological and optical acceptance within the community settings. A significant amount of equipment has been developed by different companies for measuring the procedure of colour matching to get appropriate outcomes. Some of common colour matching evaluation systems is spot measurement spectrophotometers, complete tooth measurement spectrophotometers, digital cameras, imaging systems, and colorimeters. Different research studies have been utilized for gathering information and knowledge regarding the benefits and disadvantages of the above systems. After proper investigation and the use of credible resources, it has been concluded that digital imaging is the best approach within dentistry settings for carrying out the process of colour matching.

According to Piaget, formal operations means one’s ability to perform mental operations with abstract, intangible concepts such as justice or poverty or mankind and be in a position to provide a satisfactory explanation. The focus of this investigation was combinatorial reasoning among secondary school students in Kenya. The sample comprised 150 boys and girls selected from two secondary schools in the City of Nairobi, Kenya, who were administered a questionnaire on combinatorial reasoning. The results showed that the majority of participants were either at concrete operations or were at the transitional stage. Only 30 per cent had a good mastery of combinatorial reasoning ability. Such observation brought into question Piaget’s notion that cognitive development theory is universal. Furthermore, the finding confirmed the view that many secondary school students are not operating at the formal operations stage.

Abstract\nThe aim of this investigation was to examine the extent to which people have been moving from one African country to another, as well as moving from Africa to other continents particularly Europe and America where Africa has had stronger ties than may be the case with Asia and Australia. Such movement of people constitutes what is referred to as brain drain. The investigation was based on 15 African countries selected from: North, South, East, West and central Africa, thus constituting a stratified random sample. The results showed that rather than brain drain declining, it has been increasing for the past 50 years, since most of these countries gained their independence. Such brain drain is driven by various social, economic, political, instability and security factors. While such factors are being dealt with to halt such drainage of work force, it has remained a challenge that has no resolution in sight for the foreseeable future.
